Run 1534 - August 5

Directions:

Semenyih town can be really choked with traffic, so we give two sets
of directions:

Direction 1 (more direct, but possibly heavy traffic jam):

Travel out of KL on the Cheras-Kajang Highway (use Federal
Highway/Mega Mall or Jalan Loke Yew/Jalan Cheras, direction Kajang/Cheras).
Pass Phoenix Plaza on your right and keep going all the way to
Seminyih, going through a couple of toll plazas along the way.
Once in Semenyih proper, note the BP petrol station on your left and
about 300 yards further turn left at the traffic light. Trip meter if you
like.
At about 8.2 km turn right onto gravel road (sign-posted), across
bridge, turn right again and follow signs to parking.

Direction 2 (a wee bit longer, but no jam and beautiful scenery):

Again travel out of KL on the Cheras-Kajang Highway (use Federal
Highway/Mega Mall or Jalan Loke Yew/Jalan Cheras, direction Kajang/Cheras).
Pass Phoenix Plaza on your right and head for the first toll plaze.
Zero odometer and stay/meander to left side.
At 0.3km after the toll exit left towards Hulu Langat. On this exit
keep to the right-most lane!
At 1.5km pass Police station and at traffic light turn left.
At about 9km reach Pekan Batu 14 with trademark yellow mosque and
turn right at the traffic lights in direction of Semenyih, Kajang,
Kuala Kluang, Seremban.
Follow this road all the way up the hill, about 10 kms.
At T-junction turn right, sign-posted Semenjih/Kajang.
Drive on for about 10.5 km, along the reservoir and past the Nirvana
cemetery, then turn left onto gravel road (sign-posted), across bridge, turn
right again and follow signs to parking.

Run 1535 - August 12

Directions:

Get to Batang Kali either

via North South Highway

1. Take Rawang exit off North South Highway.
2. Got thu Rawang (or use the new Rawang bypass) and get onto the old Ipoh Road.
3. Continue on the Old Ipoh Road thru Serendah until you hit the traffic lights at Batang Kali

or, via Batu Caves

1. Use the Dam Road
2. And go thru Ulu Yam Baru
3. Past Lucky Lite Restaurant on your left
4. Keep going for another 4kms until you hit the traffic lights at Batang Kali
5. Trip meter and turn right at these lights onto the Old Ipoh Road

From the lights at Batang Kali, go along the Old Ipoh Road and at 4.3 km the
turn right signposted Kuala Kubu Baru.

At 9.6 km turn right again (just before a bridge) signposted Kem Bina
"something or other". There will be a hash sign at this 9.6 km mark.

Follow this road (which becomes dirt road with lots of potholes) for a km or
two and look for next hash sign telling you to turn right.

You will immediately see a little bridge. You can park just before this on
the right handside, or alternatively you can cross the bridge and park on
the right hand side just over the bridge. This is where the hare's car will
be (blue cherokee jeep WFV 9186) and most likely the beer wagon.

Note: There will be two runs - a normal Davidson Run (smile) and a longer run.

Run 1536 - August 19

Venue: Kg Batu 30 Just After Antara Gapi (Ulu Yam Lama)

Directions:
Travel whichever way to Rawang. Go through Rawang and head up old Ipoh Road passing Serendah, the big Golf Ball and Antara Gapi and 500 meters after "IPOH 162"(approx 14km from Rawang) turn left and park

ON ON - Piew Kee Serendah
Directions : Drive back to Serendah passing big golf ball, Caltex, traffic
light and Serendah sign. 300 meters after Serendah sign turn left(with
Police Station on right) and drive for another 150 meters. Restaurant is on
left.
Note : If you pass a Shell station you have gone 200 meters too far.

Run 1537 - August 26

Make your way to Rawang, and onto the North bound KL/Ipoh trunk road. Pass Serendah and at traffic lights at Batang Kali township, turn right for Genting Highland and head for Ulu Rening. Proceed for 1.9km and slip left at new digital traffic lights. At 3.4km slip left again, and 7.2km turn right at TNB sub station and at 8.3km turn right to “Air Panas Ulu Tamu” and park behind Hot Spings beside co-hare mobile WDH1712

Note: Emilia doesn't set long runs. Rambo has lost his touch. But what about the other co-hares?!!!

Anyway, there will be 2 runs. The run will start with normal Petaling paper and will split.

A ) Not so short run - will continue on normal Petaling paper

B ) Not so long run - will continue on yellow paper.

ON ON - Old Lucky Like
Directions : Drive back to Batang Kali digital traffic lights. Turn Left and
drive for 2km to Ulu Yam/Genting cross road. Restoran is on the right of
cross road.
