Close to KL – “New” area – Great views on a good day – Overgrown tracks, Jungle, Rubber. Short run and Normal Run marked. Bring mosquito repellent – these mozzies have had no food for years.
Short instruction: Go to old Gombak – Bentong road. At “kilometre stone” “Benton 53” turn immediately left. See HASH sign. Drive carefully up old bitumen road (about 1 km) to entrance gate to MIMALAND. Park outside gate and well back to edge of old car park area to leave room for all.
Longer instruction: Follow Jalan Kuching North out of KL. Turn right towards Kuantan at the large elevated roundabout leaving at 3 o’clock. Set trip to zero as you exit roundabout. At about 2.8 km watch for sign on left above road for Jalan Gombak. Follow sign. At 3.4 km go straight through 2 sets of traffic lights. At 4.6 km turn left at yellow/green mosque, at traffic lights, into Jln Gombak. At 8.8 km go straight thro’ traffic lights (Universti Antarabangsa Muslim on right).
Reset trip to zero. Note “kilometre stones” to Bentong – 56,55,54 sometimes hidden by cars or knocked flat. At “Benton 53” (about 4.6 km) follow short instruction above.
On Bentong road if you go under Karak Hwy (large bridge) you have gone too far. Go back.
ON ON Directions:
"Go back to yellow/green mosque, at traffic lights, and turn right. Continue to double set of traffic lights. Set trip to zero at second lights. Go straight. (Not up ramp to left, not across lines to elevated highway on right.) Pass Petronas and Esso stations on left. Immediately after Shell station turn left (1.5km) and find your way to front of shophouses which face the elevated highway. On On is at Tasty House Restaurant, 9 shops from far end of the row."

Directions : Leave KL on North South highway going North. Exit at Sungai Bulloh Toll, and set tripometer to 0km. At 0.1km turn sharp left towards Kuala Selangor (away from KL). At 1.3km cross large junction with lots of roadworks. At 2.8km be in right hand lane and go up over flyover. Carry on straignt past all junctions and at 5.8km T-junction turn left (Point A for ON –ON Directions). At 8.2km go straight over traffic lights. At 10.0km go under new bridge and 50m later do sharp left U-turn onto single lane of tarmac (You can drive on the dirt beside this). Lake is now on your right, At 10.2km turn right and park near entrance to the construction site. (Note this bit is now being developed into a big road, and is used by large lorries.
ON ON Directions
Return to Point A. Do not turn right but go straight ahead. In 50m see Mei Khein Restaurant on left hand side. Proceed another 200m and do lefthand U-turn and park near restaurant.

Option 1
Take the highway to Rawang get off turn right after the toll. Go through Rawang town continue on to Batang Kali town turn right at the lights (By the police station) go straight on it says Genting go through the lights at the cross roads where you can turn left to Genting then open your eyes for hash signs on the left its about 1km after the Genting crossroads turn in left.
Option 2
Take Jalan Kuching exit to Batu Caves at the big roundabout go through Batu Caves town at the traffic lights sign posted Ulu Yam turn right and continue on roughly 6 kms turn right your on the old reservoir road to Ulu Yam. When you arrive in Ulu Yam town turn left at the small bridge go through town, turn right the sign post says Genting (if you pass the police station you're doing ok) go on for roughly 2km look for hash signs on the right
Please note as you turn in some of the culvet covers are MIA so try to avoid the holes. There is plenty of room, there is now a nice parking area down by the river very flat and clean its 100 yards further on than the usual spot. For the europeans thats 30 meters.

Occasion: BIRTHDAY RUN
Allow 1 hr+ from Karak Highway toll. A little further to travel than normal but we hope worth it. This is a new, never hashed area in spectacular and virgin running territory – a garden of Eden. Note there is a RM1 toll into the estate. It will be a runner’s run. The hares have obtained special permission
for the first ever HHH on this estate. PLEASE DO NOT LET US DOWN BY LEAVING CANS, BOTTLES OR OTHER LITTER AT THE RUN-SITE.
Directions:
Proceed to Karak-Kuantan highway toll. Get there to Bentong by old (scenic) or new (quick road). In Bentong, pass blue church and pink pasaraya on RHS. Pass Hentian Bas on LHS. Negotiate 1 way system and follow signs to Raub, passing Hospital Bentong on LHS. Zero trip meter at modest small-town mosque on RHS.
@ 3km pass exit to Kem Tentera on LHS
@ 6.1km take exit on LHS marked route 55 to Fraser’s Hill. Also signposted Bentong Hill’s Orchard
@10.4kms turn left over bridge into Ladang Bentong. Over bridge turn immediate right and head into estate on dirt track passing tractor tyre marker on RHS
@11km pass sign to Manager’s Bungalow and keep going straight
@ 11.5 km pass boom gate and pay RM1 estate access fee to Samy Vellu’s
cousin.
Follow dirt track and hash signs to run-site @ 12.1 kms. Park under oil palm near river and FFB collection point. Slot next to river reserved for beer wagon. Do not obstruct bridge or estate road for tractors.
On-On Venue
Restoran Yee Fatt – Bentong. From run-site, zero trip meter and proceed back to Bentong. Pass Kem Tentera, Golf course etc on RHS. At approx 10km, look for Petronas Station on RHS. Restoran Yee Fatt is +250m on the LHS, enter past plant nursery. Plenty of parking round the back. HHH should be in air-con room at the restaurant.

Directions:
Take PLUS highway north and use Exit 116 to Rawang.
Pass through Rawang, Serendah and Batang Kali.
Just after Batang Kali turn at the traffic light right for Genting Highlands.
Drive strait, passing through the digital traffic lights.
Turn left at the crossing (Old Lucky Like restaurant) signposted “Genting Highlands”.
Drive straight for 4.9 km and turn left into the dirt road leading to the old orchard.
Look for the hash car with red plates.
Directions 2 (for the toll saving cheap bastards):
Drive from Batu Caves in the direction of Ulu Yam, passing the reservoir.
Follow this road until you cross a bridge followed by a t-junction.
Turn left at the t-junction.
Drive straight until you reach the main junction in Ulu Yam and turn right signposted “Genting Highland”.
Drive straight (passing the police station and the Wong Kee restaurant). Turn right at the crossing (Old Lucky Like restaurant) to Genting Highlands B66.
Follow the road for 4.9 km and turn left into the dirt road leading to the old orchard.
Look for the hash car with red plates.
