Run 1608 - Jan 5 2008

Directions:

Travel whichever way to Rawang.
Go through Rawang and head up old Ipoh Road passing Serendah, the big Golf Ball and Antara Gapi and 400 meters after "IPOH 160km" milestone(approx 16km from Rawang) turn left at ELF sign.
Then Right and then left. Drive on the pebble road for 1km and park under rubber trees.
Note that if you pass a Supermarket on your right on the main road you have gone 500 meters too far.

Warning : For those who bring kids make sure they behave and do not damage the trees. The owner wants to bill the parents RM100 for any damaged tree.

ON ON - Restoran 218. Serendah
Directions : Drive back to Serendah and exit. At traffic lights at BHP petrol station reset trip meter. At 300 meters turn right and drive for another 600
Meters. Rest is on RHS.

Note : If you reach the traffic light at Sg Choh you have gone too far.

Directions:

Travel whichever way to Rawang. Go through Rawang and head up old Ipoh Road passing Serendah, the big Golf Ball and Antara Gapi and just before "IPOH 163"turn left and then immediately left. Set trip meter to zero. At 0.4km pass Green Autoair factory on right and continue on pebble road. At 1.4 km pass brick factory on left and at 1.8km turn right and park on grass land.


ON ON - Piew Kee Serendah
Directions : Drive back to Serendah. 300 meters after 2nd Serendah sign turn left(with Police Station on right) and drive for another 150 meters. Restoran is on left.

Note : If you pass a Shell station you have gone 200 meters too far.

Directions:

Finally, the directions arrived albeit was asked for via phone, sms and what not!

Coming from Rawang:

Drive towards Templer's Park/KL.
Shell Gas Station on the left.
Approximately, 1km after the Shell Station turn left
(hopefully the hash sign will be posted there as indicated by the co-hare)
Follow hash signs to the runsite.

Coming from Jalan Kuching/KL:

Drive towards Templer's Park/Ipoh
Shell Gas Station on the right - chuck a U turn just there.
Look out for hash sign on the left and turn left.
Follow hash signs to the runsite.

If you get lost - get hold of Ah Wan Tongkat Ali!

Run 1611 - Jan 26 2008

A new area for Petaling Hash with 2 lengths of run.
The Long run will be set by the Hare and Don Cheang as they don’t trust Rambo. The short run will be set by Rambo.
The Long run will follow normal Petaling paper and the short run triangular paper.

Directions:

From PJ and KL, make your way to Cheras expressway heading towards Kajang. Make sure Phoenix Plaza is on your right as you head towards the first toll. About 300m after the toll turn LEFT to Ulu Langat and Pekan Batu 9.
Do not use the left lane on the slip road that forces you to make a sharp left turn.
Drive through the village and at traffic lights at the police station and turn LEFT. Drive for about 8.8km and at traffic light in Ulu Langat turn right towards Tekali/Kuala Kelawang.
Set tripmeter to “0”.
At 300 meter pass police station on left and cross bridge.
At 2.8km slip right and at 3.6km park in sand pit.
If they are still working on the sand pit we will have to park further in.

Alternative direction

Drive over the hill from Ampang. At traffic with mosque on right turn right and then immediately left towards Tekali/Kuala Kelawang.
Then follow directions as above.

On On is at Tekali Restaurant
Drive back towards Ulu Langat. At about 2.5kmturn right into restaurant.
