At the bottom of the ramp, keep left (sign-posted Ulu Yam Baru).
Batu Caves should now be on your right!
Go over railroad tracks, and at 6.2 km, turn right at traffic lights (a mosque will be on the right).
At 10.1 km, turn right (again sign-posted Ulu Yam).
Follow this scenic (windy & hilly) road past the reservoir and into the hills.
At 31.6 km, immediately after crossing a bridge, turn right at T-junction.
Bear right past Thou Yen Restaurant and then bear right again at 32.4 km going onto Chinese kampong road.
Follow signs, park cars near Hare’s car WGE 9392.
Via the N-S highway and Rawang
You may take the crawl via the NKVE, exit for Rawang, go through Rawang (by-passing the town), and then go north on old Highway 1 (old Ipoh Road) through Sungai Choh and Serendah.
A little north of the Serendah Golf Course, turn right, signposted Ulu Yam (Lama) after the Pasar Raya (Market); a solitary building on your right before passing over the bridge over the double tracking for KTM. There is a sign posted Ulu Yam Baru.
Pass through Ulu Yam Lama and then into Ulu Yam Baru.
On the far side of UYB, keep going straight past the turn-off for Batu Caves (adjacent to a river bridge mentioned above).
You will pass the Thou Yen restaurant on the left hand side, and then continue on as above.

From KL Proceed to Batang Kali via North-South highway & Rawang
From Batang Kali follow signs for Genting Highlands. At the famous "Old Lucky Light" cross-roads approx half way between Ulu Yam Baru and Batang Kali set-trip meter and turn left towards Genting Highlands.
(you can also use the Batu Dam road, turn left into Ulu Yam, and then turn right to reach the "Old Lucky Light" cross-roads from the opposite direction).
Set your trip-meter at the cross-roads and proceed towards Genting. At roughly 2km take first left at major junction sign-posted "Genting Valley". (This road also takes you back to the Ulu Rening junction & Batang Kali).
Drive along winding back road for approx 2km passing sand quarry on right and oil palms on left and right. At approx 2.5 kms, turn right into abandoned Genting Valley Housing Development.
Cross the large concrete bridge and look for abandoned blue-roofed building on left hand side - you are now at the run-site.
Please park neatly - there will be a lot of cars, and we need to leave room for canopies, caterers, etc.

Please turn up early for the AGM (members only) before the run starts, at which the last year's reports will be reviewed/approved and the next year's committee will be elected. If you'd like to join the committee, forms will be out soon, but you can also make yourself known to the existing committee.
As always, the dinner and party is free for members - woo hoo!
Guests can still come to the run and party, for a combined fee of RM??? (sorry - on this occasion, the normal guest fee of RM35 for run & circle doesn't apply).
