It must be said that me and my friends just love the Black Cock. Sometimes the sheer size of it puts people off, but it's a really friendly place. They have a delicious range of snacks, especially the nuts. They also do some of their own drinks. The Black Cock Inn Cider is one of my girlfriends absolute favourites. She says that once you've tried it, nothing else will quite hit the spot again.
