HC2008 - Start Point

Directions to the start point for those of you who are driven there!!!

(NOTE: This is an A to B run. No transportation is available to take you back to retrieve your vehicle.)

The run starts at 7AM sharp. Photography @ 6:50am. We will not wait for latecomers.

From PJ/KL, make your way to Cheras Expressway heading towards Kajang
Make sure Phoenix Plaza is on your right as you head towards the first toll.
Turn LEFT 300m after the toll to Ulu Langat and Pekan Batu 9
DO NOT use the left lane on the slip road that forces you to make a sharp left turn.
Drive through the village and at traffic lights at the police station turn LEFT.
Proceed to Ulu Langat, straight ahead at Ulu Langat
Proceed to Ulu Langat Batu 18 (about 6km from Ulu Langat, 5 storey apartment blocks on left)
Turn RIGHT at bridge which is immediately on exit from Batu 18 Kampung
Proceed approx 2.3km to start of Hash Challenge.
There is a new concrete bridge on RHS, start is 100m over the bridge.

If approaching Ulu Langat from Ampang turn left at traffic lights in direction of Pangsun, proceed to Batu 18 as above.

Registration/Carbo-loading Nite - 15th August 2008

Registration will be held at Deja Vu Lounge, 1st Floor, 14 & 16 Cangkat Bukit Bintang, 52200 KL from 6-8pm with a briefing at 8pm. It is estimated that this is a 5 minute walk for those staying the Radius International Hotel. When you come out of the hotel, turn left and walk down the road. Deja Vu is on the right side of the road. (For those driving, please see map below).

This event is open only to the Hash Challenge participants, crew and sponsors. Anyone else wishing to join will be charged RM40 each.

PowerBar will be selling their usual stuff here.

Camelbaks will be available for sale too.

The map shows Le Bouchon (opposite Li'l Havana). Deja Vu is just upstairs of Le Bouchon.

Bus Pick-Up on Saturday 16th August 2008

There will be only one bus pick-up point at the Radius International Hotel (Kuala Lumpur), 51-A Changkat Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

Pick-up time is 5:30am sharp. The buses will not wait as we need to be at the runsite by 6.30am for the briefing and the photo session. Your punctuality would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you not staying at the hotel and if you intend to use the bus pick-up, it would help if you can advise me @ hc2008@ph3.org or +6012-309-8301 in advance so that we can get the correct number of buses.

At the registration on Friday 15 August 2008, you will be required to complete a liability and indemnity form and confirm your medical health. Copies of this form are available by clicking here. If you can fill this form in before arriving on Friday it will save time.
