Run 1551 - December 2

Scribe Jan Khan

Most hashers driving to run site - had confused
directions to contend with ... RSC sign posted at the
entrance to the Taman ! The weather lets down heavy
downpour ......
bolts of thunder & lightning flashes ...it was quite
an experience waiting in the 4WD .

We started the run on familiar starting grounds
-remember the Train Hash Run . We scramble up slope &
then down slippery , muddy stretch ....with the STAR
reporter & photographer along side us .

Here I meet Kwan - at the fence ...surveying a chance
to slip under it & escape the climb up uphill & the
shiggy there .Jimmy is busy screaming at us to keep on
paper ...because the Sarawakians beauties have laid
paper & flowers for this run . Heh, heh believe ...
Jimmy - la ????

First check cleverly broken by Hugh Murray . Kwan & I
& a few ladies are strutting behind him ... Like a
proud peacock ...Hugh keeps calling ON ! ON ! yet
there were few takers ...........We keep behind HUGH
safely until we reach a muddy river ....yet no one is
in sight ! Calls afar in different directions
......but we keep moving up until HUGH again breaks
2nd check .

After that we loose track of Taiko Hugh .. We hardly
meet Hashers passing us and we realise that the pack
have sensed different directions to get home . But we
still hear calls of ON ON ....afar .

Somewhere uphill onto the 69 steps ? we meet a pack of
backward hashers with veteran Rambo leading ...and
Rambo quips .....we like it backwards ...Chinaman
& backwards ,no foreplay ....must be Rambo style !

Well we walk up hill wondering when we would get out
of the slippery forest...strutting across the lake
...we meet smart hashers trying hard to get home
sooner . God , the stretch up the winding road really
got my shin hurting . Almost downhill we meet some 3
guys getting out of the jungle ( at starting point)
trying to figure out how to get home from the road .
Another confused lot here !

Candy patiently guides & chats up the guys while Kwan
& I are so intent on hurring home . Most of us were
not spared of the hungry blood sucking .....f..ing
leeches . Tonite we`ll all enjoy the itch ! Great run
...with hashers returning from all directions
..............Thanks Linda !
