Dear ladies and gentlemen of the Hash
Saturday, 07-07-07, what an auspicious date to do something memorable
like setting the CanAm Run. For the number 7 is a special number...
For God created the world in 7 days... there are 7 days in a week...
Snow White and the 7 Dwarves etc, etc.
As it is my turn to scribe and
yours truly take this responsibility rather seriously, have resorted to
be the absent Sckribe,(not by choice, but by unforeseen circumstances)
rang a few responsible ladies and gentlemen of the Hash for their honest
and unbiased reviews of the run. Here are their reviews:
Quote from a high ranking hasher: "There was a big turn out. Fairly
open area in palm. First runner in 1 hr 10 mins. The run was an on down.
Paul Kirkman created a havoc and went home with one set of keys and no
car. Ring Paul Kirkman up and ask him about his car. On On was a mix
of Western and Chinese food with pork chops and buffalo wings."
Quote from a hasher in 7th Heaven: "Everyone was very happy. It was
America Day run. The run started at 4.30pm. The run was mainly in oil
palm and very hot. It was a reasonable run and everyone enjoyed it.
Hares were Jimmy, Jane Trane and Barry. We had margarita onsite. On On
was at the Equatorial and we had one game of American hockey in the
restaurant. There was free beer at the triple on at the Backyard."
Quote from a no-nonsense straight talking hasher: "Run was ok. It was
messed up. I returned at 6.15pm. It is too short lah, I don't like
short run. I like longer run. The pack came back together. Food was
good, t-shirt was nice and the triple on was very good, even Stephanie
and Raymond were dancing. Everyone enjoyed themselves."
Quote from a distinguished member with a 7+year itch: "There were 7
checks, probably 7 falsies as well. I just walked around. It was a
normal run with lots of people shortcutting all over the place. I
didn't get my t-shirt. I left early.... I had an itch. Ask Peter
Brooke, he will tell you about the run."
On behalf of the members of the PH3, A very BIG THANK YOU to our fellow
Canadian & American hashers for hosting an enjoyable run on a memorable
day on 07-07-07.
Please accept my apologies for any spelling mistakes, errors in grammar
