Run 1581 - June 30 2007

Hare: CK (Kwan)
Runsite: Rawang Industrial Estate
Scribe: Roelof

Kwan’s run was the right solution for those of us who felt totally tired, worn-out, hung-over, perhaps still drunk or otherwise whatever-no-good. For example I was still quite exhausted from the week before. Crawling around in the bush, up hill down hill, laying paper really had wrecked my health.

Luckily Kwan came to rescue with a nice gentle run in a beautiful area. The run made me sweat a little but didn’t tire me out – it was just right the right mix of exercise and exhaustion to work up a proper thirst. Perhaps I will ask Kwan to be my co-hare the next time I set a run.

It was a good day for our runners. The run was mostly on proper trails avoiding steep hills, mud, rock climbing and jungle trails – no nasty things what so ever.

There was a jarring note right in the beginning of the run. We met a herd of cattle and Amelia started talking in Tamil. (Cattle, it seems, can understand Tamil) She explained the poor beasts what the Hari Raya is all about. Promptly the animals started stampeding.

Fair enough Les got blamed for this.

The circle was the usual thing> Cindy was on a visit back from the USA to spy on the some HHH act or whatever. Amelia received praise while she should have had an on down.
All in all a pleasing afternoon.
