ST ANDREW'S (SCOTTISH) DAY RUN
Hare: Ilona & Patrick Russell
Co-Hare: Sharon & Richard Thompson
Venue: Bukit Cheeding Estate, near Banting
Scribe: Alister Beck

Aye. T’was a braugh bricht sunlicht day for the 320th gathering of the Malayan Clans. Members stopped peeving long enough to listen o the massed pipe bands of the Clan McRussell play the traditional ode “Old man of Loch Nanger” affore the traditional haggis beat.

The hash was notable for its lack of Munro’s and bonny naked lassies, but there was tea. Aye, tea.

On finishing members were awarded with the new victory shirts, styled in the Gay fashion. The gieing of shiendoons as official gifts was banned after the McFrasers chibbed wee Sporen Mctavish last year.

Members joined in the circle for the customary dram and denigration of the hated wee sooky sasanach bastard lowlanders afore gaun ta the Firth of Klang Chippie for fish supper and pint of heavy.

After the toast to those slaughtered by the hated English and a fine joke about tits from the wee gadgie McRonnie. The neet was finished off as the massed bands of pipers played the “Ode to the Plastic Chair. Aye”

For fine sock skills the Clan McCloggie was awarded the right to gie the local indigen taxi the traditional shooing on behalf o the gathering on the way out.
