The run site was not at the usual place, at Lagong Resort, but just 0.5 km from the main road, in front of the bridge. On On started at 4.30 pm and the pack rushed straight up a slope following old papers. Actual papers were laid along the road across the bridge and after some running, the trail went right into somebody’s land and ended up as the first check. The pack checked down the road and papers were found to the left, off road into the jungle. The trail went through a jungle and across a stream to a second check. At this point, it started to rain cats and dogs and FROPS were checking everywhere. Papers were found up a logging track with rain water gushing down the steep slope making running difficult for the FROPS.

The run started at 4:30pm and there was immediate confusion with the paper trail. However the pack found paper in the rubber estate.
The first 5 checks were circular checks which were brilliantly laid because they kept the pack together. The sixth check was a normal one which led the FROPS down to a valley, On trail was found about 50m backwards in the bamboo jungle.
Altogether there were 6 checks according to the hare going through hills, rubber estates, orchards bamboo jungle (huge one), mountain streams & chicken farm. All in all it was a typical enjoyable hash country run.
The hares (record number 8) had demonstrated clever use of terrain & contour to the maximum which offered a learning experience to all hashers old and new a like.
FROPS in 1hour 55 minutes.
A circle was called on site with the following
1. Terry Gardener for carelessly injuring himself
2. Volunteeer required for Bangsar HHH the next Tuesday
3. Whereabouts of Capt. Aru and more importantly his runsite
ONON at Ta Kee Restauarant, Ulu Yam Lama
1. Wolfgang for enjoying live telecast of Hungarian
2. Australian Couple from Adelaide – wife GM of Adelaide Harriets
3. Klams from Hongkong for not paying Guest Fees
4. Connie a semi virgin (Ed’s note just like being a little bit pregnant) ran with PH3 four years ago also a Rambo run
5. Mike & Mei Mei for confusing the Traffic Police Road Block & thus delaying arrival of many hashers
6. Hares Verdict was a toilet seat & the highest number of hares (Ed’s note lesson to be learnt – no matter how good the actual run is.. if it is too long, it is too f*!king long and will be a toilet seat)
Mooncakes were served as dessert by kind Chinese ladies.
ON ON ON at Havana Bukit Ceylon
