Once again I am doing a run report for a female.

Ok the run site down at Ijok is a nice location with lots of Palm and generally a flat area. Which makes the going a lot easier and good for the fast running brigade. Although it had been raining and there was a bit of shiggy underfoot.
As it all happened some three weeks ago the small details of the run have escaped my alcohol fuddled mind, but the run started off back up the side of the in road towards the Water main and then went left into the palm forest….several checks later we were heading in an anticlockwise direction. As this run was set by Guinness with his trusty GPS in hand it was obvious that the trail would be a twisting and winding effort that only a GPS set trail can produce. The run continued around the base of the water Tank hill and first runner was home in approx 1.10mins.
Some of the short cutters were back in about 1.20 myself included . Over all judged a good run with a variety of conditions and trails.
Jimmy Leg opener was Bomoh and Patsy `Seat Sniffer' Yap was rightfully on downed for providing false information to her chauffeur. Not once but three different times during the drive to the run site. African Mule bought along a guest from some place in the Pacific who was Richard Dreyfuss's twin brother.
Another guest named either Negotiator, Fornicator, Flagellator or Masturbator. Believed to be a pedophile from Angeles City in the Philippines.
He reminded me of Paladin the Gunfighter with his slicked down hair and shiny black outfit or was it Will Smith from `Men In Black' Or maybe Jake and Elwood Blues from the `Blues Brothers' He looked a proper wanker in his shiny suit and then he sang `Father Abraham' for his down down. Several other sinners were given a drink for their trouble.
Then we all left for the restaurant and the confusion began………………
First of all the owner said “what are all u people doing here?”
Then she said ”I knew there was a Hash Club coming but I don't know which one!”
Then she said” I knew you were coming, but I wasn't told how many of you!”
Then she said ”I didn't know it was tonight!”
Then she said “No food has been ordered for you!”
At this stage Several car loads were seen to be leaving the restaurant as they didn't want to wait . Hugh Murray and tribe left in a cloud of dust and smoke.
At about this time Guinness and the Hare [Suat Hoon] arrived and started to sort out the confusion. Guinness had ordered the food the week before and had made all the arrangements with the restaurant.. The dishes were served soon after and a great feast had by all. Over all consensus was that it was a good run and the On On was well received at a cost of RM10.

Run 1506 - 21st January 2006

Run 1506-Hares:David and Charlotte Park
Scribe: Teh Suat Hoon

It was the usual Saturday run which started at 4.30pm under the very hot sun which is typical of the weather around Chinese New Year. Prior to the run the hashers were required by the Grand Lady of the Langat Fishing Seafood and Beer Garden to park their cars in a very orderly and structured manner. She should be a German and not a Chinese! Guess what? Hashers being hashers they got their own way and parking was done in the manner they are use to non structured but still acceptable to all.

Since scribe was nowhere visible on the run the report is done through the eye’s of others.
As usual for that area, the run goes uphill, and after a short coasting along the ridge, the trail went down into the flat area on the left, very near to the houses and factories. There were loops round orchards and ponds before the climb up to the home trail. It first went along the ridge of a well trimmed orchard with houses in the valley. It is a lovely view here. On hitting the tarmac road, the front runners zoomed down to slope to return well before 6pm.

The run may be even better as viewed by an experienced hasher had the hare took the home trail to where the houses are in the valley, heading for the communication tower. Well I guess it is easier on hindsight to suggest improvement.

The hares have graciously provided pâté for the runners after the run and was told it was yummy. Circle was conducted by the Grandmaster and Jointmaster and was told the Grandmaster in true hash style celebrated his girlfriend’s birthday with flour and eggs on himself. Wondered whether the grandmaster ever thought why waste good ingredients on him, maybe he should put it to good use like baking a cake for his girl instead? After Hugh Murray’s announcement about next week’s BYO on–on, the Germans, labeled as cheap skates, were on–downed. Marlies Tjaden and Petra sat on ice, while Klaus Gehihaar and another were enjoying themselves on their laps. To prolong the agony for the ladies (but joy for the men), Peter Brooke and Paul Smith told jokes.
