1.Hah! It’s the infamous German-clockwork-team up to no good again. As always.

Wolfgang and Knut have been going around promoting this run, on behalf of Matthias, in their own respective ways around the Klang Valley Hash Chapters. The run-site was quite a distance way out on the Ipoh-KL truck road, and the weather over the past few evenings were most threatening, and this afternoon’s thunderstrorm clouds were following us to the run-site. Remember over the Chinese New Year’s ImaDruba Point B-to A Run, the short-run participants were drop off by bus at the starting point in Sg. Gapi East Estate (near the Temple), however this time round the Germans selected a big flat newly-levelled space at the foot of the temple hill, what was to be future cow sheds and corals. Parking space aplenty, however members were kiasu-driving around for prime space…I want to shower-in full hash view syndrome.

2.A sizeable crowd came driving into the run site by 0415pm, its so nice to see Helen & Ron Brooks driving in cheerfully, in return of the French family and baby Oscar-the-fish. My new baby nephew “SiowLoong… little dragon” of the Moore Dynasty were present on this rain-threatening evening. (Of course, my dad had to park beside this smelly cow-shed, and Uncle Don can call me a sour-puss, what ambience and atmosphere. Mummy said she will take me to the country side for some fresh air. We Babies-United beg to defer….)

We Had quite some guests in anticipation of a special German treat, and Emilia was having a field day collecting guest-fee. JM Tommy gave a quick intro-speech to guests and first-timers, and started a mass exodus at 0414 pm into the wilderness of oil palms. Trail led uphill along good tracks, first check took up to a steep climb towards towering top of oil palms. Then another strenuous puff up to the highest point to be greeted by the now arrived lightning and thunderstorm, blowing in extreme cold winds. Very invigorating and to be met at the summit by Mosses aka MohamadChuck-wow encouraging the hash multitude to “go forth-and-multiply”, and to the elders how-does-it-feel-to-old-my man. Can someone restrain this monkey from mocking at hashers puffing up summits of hash runs. There were calls of “are you” and “checking” coming in from all directions, and headless chicken hashers running around to and forth. After a good twenty minutes wondering at the top, we descended to what was to be our earlier out trail, f..ked again. A great number of the headless chicken decided to call it a day and reversed and follow papers homeward bound. There were so hashers coming in all directions, each claiming they were on the right trail and papers, to each his own. Our little party of Helen, Kicheebye, TonyM and AndyL got in within 0145 hrs. At the beer-wagon were already the majority of short-cutters, drinking and comparing notes where they did wrong or otherwise, bloody vocal bunch they were, each claiming they were screwed by the other groups calling “on paper”. At 0615 p.m. a froup of die-hards, apparently they were about the only few who found the actual trail and papers al the way home.

3.The run area is beautifully terrain for more hashing, and the hare and his Gestapo team did well to hid the papers at the top of the hill, thus causing us simple headless-chicken to be disorientated. All in all, it must be mentioned that it was a beautiful run while it lasted (perhaps next time the hare want to seek the Chinese connexion assistance to set a good run in this great hash country.)

Hash Circle

a.The hare was triple 0n down for all the wrong efforts…. Parking next to the smelly cow-shed, hiding papers up on the mountain, and Wolfgang as advisor who did not turn for the run… not necessary in that order.
b.Dr Octopussy Jagjig for not briefing virgin hasher Ivy, what hashing is all about. She thought hashing was those 1960s hippie experiences, always-willing-to-try.
c.Jimmy dog-shit was floured & egged and a candle lit for his 101st Birthday, aptly administered by DaveKamakazi.
d.Plenty of charges and counter-charges which we will not bore you with.

On On
At the only restaurant in Kerling truck road. Very good German ala Chinese cuisine were served. Hare Matthias were further triple on-down for the pleasure from the multitude. What a sensational and fun-fill evening. Thank you Matthias, believe you me Malaysian-German technology is not necessary the order of the day.
