Run 1738 - 3rd July 2010
Venue: Antara Gapi

It was an easy drive to Antara Gapi - a turning off the Old Ipoh Road that I'd never taken before. We drove through new housing estates, and then along empty roads and up a small steep hill. The run-site wasn't visible from the road going up, so some of us
Guinness Khoo - Final Funeral details
There was a good turnout at the funeral, including a large number of hashers from Petaling, Mother and the Harriettes.
We were informed that the ashes will be leaving the crematorium tomorrow (31st) morning at 8.30, on their way to Nirvana (I'm not sure if it's the Nirvana between Sungei Besi and Seremban, or the one near Semenyih <-more likely).
I believe there will be a bus from the crematorium for anyone who wishes to attend this.

'Guinness' Khoo Cheang Chye was just 66 years old, and was a fit and active hasher with Petaling HHH for over 30 years - he was also a committed member of the Mother Hash, and must have run with many others over the years.
I am told that he was one of the most prolific hashers that most of us will ever have the good fortune to meet, clocking up around 4,500 or 5,000 runs in his 41 years of hashing.

COCKER aka kait
BEER O'CLOCK
On a day like today (Friday, and sunny for a change), it feels like beer time already (5pm), so I don't know why I'm still in the office, or why I'm emailing you - I should be in a pub somewhere.
On a Saturday, at the PH3 run-site, Beer O'Clock is much easier to define. It is either:
- 5.45pm
or
- the time that the Front-Runner-On-Paper arrives back from the run (if there's a short and a normal, it's the normal run that counts)
The same rule applies to soft drinks (including for grubby little horrors!), but the big water-cooler is usually available to prevent anyone from dying of thirst.
This is because we're a Hash club, and the idea of the Hash is that you do the run and then reward yourself with a few drinks.
Non-runners (members or guests) are welcome to drink, but only after the run has been completed by at least one person (or until we conclude that they're probably lost).
So, even though the cans and bottles are put in iced water around 4.30pm to cool, and look very tempting, they may not be taken until the time specified above. Otherwise we'd all just sit around drinking, and forget the run!
We don't want to have to put armed guards by the beer truck, so please do the right thing.
There are only a few habitual offenders, and we apologise for making the rest of you read this, but we want to make sure the rule is clear.
On On,
Onsec, on behalf of the PH3 Committee
